Incorporated in 1998, IGL took over Delhi City Gas Distribution Project in 1999 from GAIL (India) Limited (Formerly Gas Authority of India Limited).
The project was started to lay the network for the distribution of natural gas in the National Capital Territory of Delhi to consumers in the domestic, transport, and commercial sectors. With the backing of strong promoters – GAIL (India) Ltd. and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) – IGL plans to provide natural gas in the entire capital region.
The incumbent should be a B.E. /B. Tech (Fire) with First Class (60% marks) from institute of repute OR, BE / B.Tech – Full Time in Any Discipline with First Class (60% marks) with One Year Full Time DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL SAFETY with First Class (60%) from RLI/CLI.
Age Limit: 28 Years.
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. - Fire Full Time (First Class - 60%) OR BE / B.Tech – Full Time in Any Discipline (First Class - 60%) With One Year Full Time Diploma (First Class - 60%) in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute (RLI) / Central Labour Institute (CLI). Experience : Fresher and candidates who have less than 2 Years of post qualification experience in relevant field.
